Chicago’s Rogue Vogue are definately in my top five favs at the moment and this latest interpretation for Belgian’s Tempogeist is badass!
Nice and deep and heavily laced with sax n synth this mix is one of my fav tracks from 2012 for sure.
Get the full release on Beatport now thanks to Shiny Disco Club.
Out on the 28th exclusively on Juno Download is another stellar release from Casio Social Club via Mullet Recordings.
This is nudisco at its finest.
Out as of yesterday is a track I like many others have been anticipating a hell of a lot.
LA based producer Chris Malinchak is pure class and this latest installment entitled “These Dreams”, featuring vocals from Damon C. Scott is his classiest yet.
Thanks Chris and thanks French Express for the good times and great vibes that come with your music.
French Express have made a huge impact on the house world this year and they’ve done it once again. Sydney based Producer Isaac Techauer has been working away for the last 6 months on his first album Devotion.
The album has 9 tracks spread out over an hour, sending you on what French Express call an ” ethereal, metaphysical, futuristic, classic, atmospheric, tribal & tropical” journey.
Devotion is the first full length album from French Express but hopefully not the last, and whats more is it is totally free.
Well done Isaac.
Get behind Tichauer and the dudes at French Express, they deserve your attention/money/love.
Out now thanks to Jerry Bouthier’s Continental Records is the much anticipated This Summer and Selena remix release from Sydney 3 – piece indie dance outfit RÜFÜS.

Fellow commonwealth colonial JNL has quickly become one of my favourite producers over the past few months with some ultra funky french house offerings. The first i’d heard of this mysterious Canadian was on Shiny Disco Clubs “Millenium Disco Volume 2″ compilation with the track “One Sunday” closely followed by the jaw dropper Beausejour on Stripped & Chewed’s debut comp “Livin For The City”.
French house can be a little “played” at times but JNL stamps a real individuality on the genre with silky smooth guitar licks and solid sampling skillz.
The man from Winnipeg is currently offering up a few unreleased gems in order to procure the funds for an official album, so help the guy out on bandcamp because the album is something we all want to hear…trust me.
If you love french house then you will no doubt love JNL_Cinemafunk!
There are a lot of tracks that I am anticipating in the coming weeks/months and these disco funk offerings from Vienna’s LeSale are right up there.
This release has something for everyone with A and B sides given the Deep House work over from Burnin Tears and Jakobin & Domino.
Pre order on Juno, release date July 13th.
No one does nostalgia like quite like Breakbot and One Out Of Two is a brilliant throwback to when pop and dance were more closely related (this statement is somewhat true nowadays but f**k all of that, you know what we are talking about!).
With two originals and remixes from Oliver, Get A Room! and House legend DJ Sneak, this ep is full circle.
Get it on Beatport.
