Fellow commonwealth colonial JNL has quickly become one of my favourite producers over the past few months with some ultra funky french house offerings. The first i’d heard of this mysterious Canadian was on Shiny Disco Clubs “Millenium Disco Volume 2″ compilation with the track “One Sunday” closely followed by the jaw dropper Beausejour on Stripped & Chewed’s debut comp “Livin For The City”.

French house can be a little “played” at times but JNL stamps a real individuality on the genre with silky smooth guitar licks and solid sampling skillz.

The man from Winnipeg is currently offering up a few unreleased gems in order to procure the funds for an official album, so help the guy out on bandcamp because the album is something we all want to hear…trust me.
